SPECIFIC FEATURES

A complete technical platform, an entire ecosystem with all components and materials needed for a clothing brand to design and manufacture apparel with active battery-powered heating built in. In combination with the DuPont, Intexar technology enables durable and super thin designs. Intexar with Carbon, Silver and flexible Polyurethane. Inuheat PowerPack in military grade PC/ABS.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION

Made in completely encapsulated conductors and heaters with no metal release during the lifetime of the garments. All skin close materials in compliance with Oeko-Tex® and REACH. Other materials in regards to REACH. Inuheat offer to recycle and dispose of used materials in a no harmful way.

SUSTAINABILITY AWARD, MOTIVATION FROM THE JURY

Water repellency plays an important role for outdoor garments. Organotex Textile waterproofing is an ecological friendly, PFOC-free and fully biodegradable way of keeping your clothing highly water repellent. The jury also liked that it will perform well without having to apply heat to the treated garment when you let it dry for two days. The products are manufactured in Sweden.

PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES

By mimicking the lotus leaf, OrganoTex have designed a waterborne system that builds up a breathable 3D network with micro and macroscopic surface roughness covered by a layer of anchored fatty compounds for good coverage and durability of the treatment on the textile.

INTENDED SPECIFIC END USE

OrganoTex end-consumer product is aimed to re-impregnate or impregnate variations of textile fabrics to become water repellent. The product is workable also for all kinds of laminated or coated fabrics and will not affect the breathability.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

The 3D network technology creates water repellence, maintains the fabric’s breathability and softness compared to film forming technology, such as for example PU and wax-based products. The product is 100% readily biodegradable and classified as non-toxic according to CLP. Water-based emulsion with readily biodegradable fatty hydrocarbons.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION

OrganoTex has used only non-toxic chemistry that are biodegradable and the product is 100% readily biodegradable and classified as non-toxic according to CLP.

Spindye fabrics use 75 percent less water und 90 percent less chemicals compared to traditional dyeing processes. CO2-imprint is reduced by 30 percent. Originally developed for fabrics used by the outdoor industry the environmentally dyed fabrics are used more and more by fashion companies. This makes the impact even bigger and shows the leadership role that Scandinavian outdoor brands have in regards of sustainability and innovation. »This is what we expect from our industry«, said one jury member.

PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES

We aRe SpinDye® offers a sustainable and verified coloring method for yarns and fabrics. Through their digitized color approach, they deliver fabrics with great color performance in a clean and fully traceable way.

INTENDED SPECIFIC END USE

Fabrics made of manmade fibres for outdoor, sports and fashion. The SpinDye®-method is applicable for all manmade fibres. They focus on polyester since it is the most common material in the sports- and outdoor world.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

A highly sustainable and traceable coloring method of textile fabrics.

SUSTAINABILITY INFORMATION

By using this method for coloring yarn and fabrics you will contribute to the environment. They use 75% less water consumption during the entire coloring process and 90% less chemical consumption. Polyester is well suitable for recycling and circularity. They use 100% recycled polyester and all their fabrics are recyclable. The CO2 imprint is reduced by 30% and the precise production procedures means fewer errors, less waste and less uncertainty.
